About AnCoBa VCI Masterbatch
We Manufacture VCI Batch for Anti-Corrosion Films.
Product characteristics
AnCoBa is a nitrite-free, colorless VCI masterbatch (volatile corrosion inhibitors) for the manufacturing of anti-corrosion films. In the master batch, VCI active ingredients in a highly concentrated form are incorporated in LDPE.
The anti-corrosion film manufactured with AnCoBa continually emits minute quantities of active ingredients into the air contained in the packaging, thus also protecting the metal surfaces that have no direct contact with the film. The development of the protective atmosphere can take several hours according to the volume of the packaging.
Anti-corrosion films provide optimum safety during the storage or transport of metal goods. The benefits of the anti-corrosion films are, besides the simple handling during packaging and unpacking, the transparency and the immediate application of the packaged metal parts.
Nitrite-free, standard colorless VCI Masterbatch on a polyethylene basis for the production of VCI corrosion protection film for the protection of steel, iron, cast iron (only on contact), and non-ferrous metals.

Advanced Corrosion ProtectionAnCoBa VCI Masterbatch features specialized Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors that actively guard metal surfaces by forming a protective barrier. The white granule formulation ensures manufacturers can blend the additive seamlessly into film production processes. As a result, finished films provide sustained corrosion protection, making them suitable for automotive, electronics, and metal packaging sectors.
Ease of Manufacturing and ProcessingSupplied in granular form, this masterbatch is easily handled, measured, and dosed during manufacturing. With its set density, the masterbatch allows for consistent mixing, ensuring homogeneous distribution of anti-corrosive agents in the final film product. Manufacturers and suppliers benefit from its straightforward integration into standard film extrusion lines.
FAQ's of AnCoBa VCI Masterbatch:
Q: How is AnCoBa VCI Masterbatch used in film production?
A: AnCoBa VCI Masterbatch is blended directly with base polymers during the extrusion process to produce films with corrosion-inhibiting properties. Its granule form ensures a uniform mix, resulting in effective VCI distribution throughout the film.
Q: What benefits does the AnCoBa VCI Masterbatch offer for film applications?
A: This masterbatch provides passive and active corrosion protection for metal goods, extending their shelf life and reducing the risk of rust. It also simplifies manufacturing by allowing easy dosing and consistent results in the final product.
Q: When should you use AnCoBa VCI Masterbatch?
A: It is ideal for use whenever you require protective films for packaging or storing metal components, especially in environments prone to moisture or during long-term transit.
Q: Where can AnCoBa VCI Masterbatch be sourced?
A: AnCoBa VCI Masterbatch is readily available through authorized distributors, suppliers, and directly from the manufacturer in India. It can be shipped to a variety of industrial locations as needed.
Q: What is the process for integrating this masterbatch into production?
A: Simply add the required proportion of AnCoBa VCI Masterbatch to the polymer resin during the compounding or extrusion process. Standard blending equipment is sufficient for incorporation.
Q: How does the masterbatch appearance and density support manufacturing?
A: With a density of 500 kg/m3 and white granule appearance, the product is easy to handle, measure, and incorporate, resulting in even distribution of anti-corrosive agents and minimizing processing errors.
