Product characteristics

AnCoBa is a nitrite-free, colorless VCI masterbatch (volatile corrosion inhibitors) for the manufacturing of anti-corrosion films. In the master batch, VCI active ingredients in a highly concentrated form are incorporated in LDPE.

The anti-corrosion film manufactured with AnCoBa continually emits minute quantities of active ingredients into the air contained in the packaging, thus also protecting the metal surfaces that have no direct contact with the film. The development of the protective atmosphere can take several hours according to the volume of the packaging.

Anti-corrosion films provide optimum safety during the storage or transport of metal goods. The benefits of the anti-corrosion films are, besides the simple handling during packaging and unpacking, the transparency and the immediate application of the packaged metal parts.

Nitrite-free, standard colorless VCI Masterbatch on a polyethylene basis for the production of VCI corrosion protection film for the protection of steel, iron, cast iron (only on contact), and non-ferrous metals.
